How to Replace Cartridge(s)

The steps below will show you how to replace the ink cartridge on the HP PhotoSmart 130:

 

  1. Pull the cartridge door down to open it.
  2. Push down on the old cartridge and pull it outward to remove it from the print cartridge cradle.
  3. Remove the new ink cartridge from the package. Be careful not to touch the ink nozzles or copper contacts.
  4. Pull the tab to remove the clear plastic tape on the new ink cartridge.
  5. Insert the new cartridge into the print cartridge cradle.
  6. Push the new cartridge in until it snaps into place.
  7. Close the print cartridge door.
