Shipping Options and Charges

At Carrot Ink, we’re upfront about the charges. In fact, you’ll even see them in your Shopping Cart before you checkout. Also, we don’t tack on any additional charges, like handling fees.

Most importantly, though, most orders will ship the SAME DAY.


Same-Day Shipping

Generally, most in-stock orders placed before 3:00 pm Pacific Standard Time, Monday through Friday ship that same day. There could be various reasons why an order did not ship on the same day.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Certain online orders are held for verification purposes, and will not ship the same day. Instead, those orders are shipped once the order has been verified with the customer.


Delivery Times

The delivery time for your order varies depending on your selected shipping method during the checkout process.

Generally, most orders will arrive within the timeframes cited below, but is NOT always the case.

- Standard Overnight Shipping: 1 business day

- 2-Day Shipping: Up to 2 business days

- Standard Shipping: - 3 to 8 business days

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Estimated shipping time begins once the order has shipped. (For example, if the order is placed on Monday, but ships Tuesday, shipping times listed above start on that Tuesday.)
Most orders ship on the same day, but NOT all. There could be various reasons why an order did not ship on the same day. Certain online orders are held for verification purposes, and will not ship the same day. Instead, those orders are shipped once the order has been verified with the customer.


Orders with a subtotal equal or greater than $40 (in merchandise) ship free via standard shipping ONLY for the 48 contiguous states. Alaska and Hawaii, as well as U.S. territories, are excluded from free shipping. Under that, a flat $3.95 fee applies. A shipping fee will apply to Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories as needed, which is placed at our discretion.



We strive to have all items in stock. However, there may be times when an item you ordered is on backorder. This will be noted in your Shopping Cart and also during Checkout. If this is not shown during checkout in your shopping cart, you will be notified via call or email from one of our customer representatives to advise you on the backorder, and to tell you what options you have.

If your order does contain a backordered item, we will not ship your order until all items are in stock. Unless notified separately, most backordered items are expected in stock within 2 business days.


Package Tracking Numbers / Delivery Confirmation

Once your order ships, we will send you a Shipment Notification via email that evening. This notice will include the tracking or delivery confirmation number of your package and a link directing you to the carrier's website. Please allow up to one (1) business day for your tracking number to be uploaded into the carrier’s system.

You may also track your package by logging into our website - all information about your most recent order is available once you have logged in.


International Orders

Carrot Ink only ships to the US, its territories, and US military / diplomatic addresses.


P.O. Box, U.S. Territories, and Military / Diplo Addresses

Standard Shipping is the only option for orders shipping to PO Boxes, US territories, and military addresses. Please be aware, there are certain cases where will need a physical address and not a P.O. box to ship your order out.

Shipping Notes

Please be reminded that shipping offers and terms are subject to changes. Confirmed orders placed before the change will receive the quoted shipping at the time of the purchase, this is regardless of the provided shipping date. In an event of shipping calculation mistakes (for instance the shipping cost was not reflected even if the order is not qualified for free shipping), we reserve the right not to honor mistakes.

When your order leaves our facility, we are no longer responsible for any delays or disruptions in delivery. We encourage everyone to wait at least 15 days until arrival before declaring a lost package as this is the guideline of UPS and USPS. If your order has not arrived after 15 days from the expected shipping date, don’t hesitate to call our customer service hotline for help. If you do not contact our company about a lost package within 45 days of your order being shipped, that order is considered delivered and complete, and we may not honor any refund for that order.

For cancellation or changes in your order, our team will help you if the order hasn’t been processed yet. The fastest way to stop and cancel your order is to call our customer service and request the order be stopped and cancelled. Please keep in mind that we are not able to stop and cancel all orders, but we will try. In the event that an order cannot be cancelled, we will suggest alternatives to have the order returned to us. We cannot cancel your order if it is already shipped. You can contact our customer care staff for more assistance. Orders placed after our last pickup time, which is 3:00PM PST, are processed immediately the next business day unless there is a specific issue that is holding the order from shipping. If you send us a contact email requesting to stop an cancel and order from shipping, there is a chance that we may not get to that email in a timely manner and the order will have been processed and shipped by that time.

We ship from Southern California and Texas Mondays to Fridays. If you placed an order on or before 3PM PST, it will be shipped the same day, but that will depend on if inventory is readily available for your order. For orders received after 3PM PST, our team will ship the item on the next business day. In case the order is placed on a Friday after 3PM, the order will be shipped after the weekend. Customers living in the East Coast can typically receive their order in 2-5 business days, and for West Coast customers, 1-3 business days. Please bear in mind, that the delivery period will only begin after your order leaves our warehouse. We don’t refund shipping costs but in the event of a product defect or packaging mistake, we will honor a refund.

All expedited orders placed after 2:00pm PST are not guaranteed to go out that same day, and may end up shipping the next day. This includes expedited orders that use Ground, 2-Day, or Overnight shipping options.

Once the order has been placed, you will receive an email containing your order confirmation. Another email will be sent after the item leaves our facility, and that email will contain tracking information.
