Frequently Asked Questions

Can I continue printing in black if my Canon PIXMA MX439 color ink cartridge runs out of ink?

Yes. You just have to change the settings on your printer and specify that only the black ink cartridge will be used.

Why is the print result not in color even if I just changed the color ink cartridge?

If the print result is not in color, check your printer’s Cartridge Setting to see if it’s set to print in ‘Black Only.’ If yes, then change the setting accordingly so you can start printing in color.

Is it true that using remanufactured ink cartridges is an effective way to keep cartridge waste out of landfills?

Yes. Remanufactured ink cartridges are recycled OEM cartridges that have been cleaned, rebuilt, and tested to ensure they work just like the originals. So, if you’re totally committed to being an environmental advocate, then support cartridge recycling efforts by using remanufactured ink cartridges on your printer.
