2. Open the printer cover and then wait until the carriage stops moving and is silent.
3. Remove the old cartridge by pressing down on it lightly until it’s released from its slot, and then by sliding it towards you.
4. Take the new cartridge from its packaging and remove the protective tape. Be careful not to touch the copper-colored contacts and the ink nozzle to avoid clogs and ink failures after installation.
5. Slide the new cartridge into the empty slot and push it until it snaps into place. Close the printer cover.
