How to Replace Cartridge(s)

1. Turn your printer and open its top cover to access the cartridges. You’ll the carriage move to the center.
2. To unlatch the old cartridge, push its release tab inwards then pull it out.
3. Remove your new cartridge out of its packaging. Using the orange pull tab, remove the plastic wrap.
4. Remove the orange plastic cap from the cartridge by twisting it off. You may need to exert substantial force to do so.
5. Place the new cartridge into its corresponding slot and push it down until it snaps into place. Note: match the color and shape on the cartridge with the labels on the printer.
6. Close your printer’s top cover.

“High yield” refers to the number of pages these cartridges can print. It means it can print more pages than a standard-sized one. For example, our HP 564 XL (CN684WN) Black High-Yield Remanufactured Ink Cartridge can print up to 550 pages, while our HP 564XL CMY colors can all print 750 pages each. Note that these estimations may change depending on your frequency of use, paper type, and printer’s settings.

How long can I keep my cartridges unopened?

Carrot Ink’s cartridges have a shelf life of 18 to 24 months. To make sure that your unopened cartridges last this long, keep them in a sealed bag and away from direct sunlight. Also, store them in a cool, dry place in a standing position to avoid any leaks.
