How to Replace Cartridge(s)

1. Turn your printer on and raise the cartridge access door. Wait until the carriage stops moving into the access area.
2. Find the cartridge you want to replace. Press the tab in front of it to release the old cartridge. Lift it out of the slot and dispose of it properly.
3. Take your new cartridge out of its packaging. Pull the orange tab to remove the plastic covering.
4. Twist the orange cap on the bottom of the cartridge counter-clockwise to remove it. Note: Do not touch the electrical contacts and ink port, as this could cause clogging or ink failure.
5. Install the new cartridge into the correct slot (look at the same color and symbol on the carriage).
6. Hold the new cartridge on its sides and slide it into the empty slot. Push it gently until you hear it lock in place.
7. Close the cartridge access door.
