How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Here are some simple steps you can follow to replace your HP OfficeJet H470 ink cartridges:

 

  1. Lift the front access cover to gain access to the cartridge compartment. Make sure the carriage stops moving before you touch the old cartridges.
  2. Once the carriage is in a fixed position, lift the latch that covers the cartridges. Carefully pull the used cartridge from the compartment.
  3. Unpack the replacement cartridge. Remove the protective film. Insert the new cartridge into the compartment.
  4. Close the cartridge latch and then close the front access cover.
  5. You can resume printing as soon as the carriage returns to the home position, which is on the left side of the product.
