Frequently Asked Questions

What does the ‘Remove & check cartridge on right’ error message mean?

The ‘Remove & check cartridge on right’ error message means that the black ink cartridge needs attention. It’s either running low on ink or depleted. Replace it with a new black ink cartridge soon.

How can I prevent missing colors on the printed page?

Missing colors usually occur when the cartridge nozzles dry out. To prevent the nozzles from drying out, make sure to remove the protective tape from a new ink cartridge only when you are about to insert it into your printer. And once the tape is removed, keep in mind not to allow anything to touch it to avoid print quality issues like missing colors.

Will a remanufactured ink cartridge void my HP Officejet 7310 printer warranty?

No. It is against the law for any printer manufacturer, including HP, to void the printer warranty just because the printer owner chooses to use other types of ink cartridges.
