How to Replace Cartridge(s)

  1. Press the power button on your HP Officejet 6210 printer.
  2. Open the printer cover.
  3. Press down on the end of the cartridge you want to replace and pull it out of its slot.
  4. Take the new cartridge out of its wrapper and remove the plastic tape. Do not touch the copper contacts or ink nozzles.
  5. Slide the new cartridge into the correct slot. Cartridges with a triangle go in the left slot. Cartridges with a square or pentagon go in the right slot.
  6. Close the printer cover.
