How to Replace Cartridge(s)
- Press the power button so your HP OfficeJet Pro 6500 can turn on. Then, slowly open its cartridge door. Wait for the print carriage to stop at the center.
- Select the empty cartridge and make sure to firmly press the tab to release it from its placement. Then, pull upwards.
- Pull the orange tab backwards to release the new cartridge from its plastic wrap. Then, place the unwrapped package to its correct color slot.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you've replaced all the empty cartridges. Then, close the cartridge door.
