How To Replace Cartridge
- Open your printer’s cartridge door and remove the old cartridge.
- Remove your new cartridge from its packaging. While you hold both sides, shake it gently several times so the ink inside will be distributed evenly. Make sure that you’re not touching the roller’s surface or shutter.
- Find the shipping tape’s tab on the side of the cartridge. Pull the tab until the entire tape is detached from the cartridge.
- Place the cartridge into printer. To do this properly, the new cartridge should be aligned with the tracks inside the printer.
- Close the cartridge door and wait until the control panel display Ready.
