How To Replace Cartridge
Remove the old toner cartridge and install a new cartridge on the HP LaserJet 8100dn with the steps
- Open the top cover of the printer.
- Hold the used toner cartridge, grasp it at the middle, and gently pull it out of the printer.
- Take the new toner cartridge out of the box and remove its packaging.
- Shake the new toner cartridge from front to back and side to side to distribute the toner evenly.
- Find the sealing tape tab at the end of the cartridge.
- Pull the tab until the entire length of the protective tape is removed.
- Slide the new cartridge into the printer and push it firmly until it locks into place.
- Close the printer’s top cover.
