Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the HP 60XL and the HP 60?

The XL placed at the end of the cartridge part name means that it is the high-yield version. The HP 60XL is a high-yield ink cartridge, which contains more ink than the standard HP 60 ink cartridge.

Can I replace the used black and tri-color ink cartridges with black cartridges only?

No. The tri-color cartridge slot is for tri-color only, and the black cartridge is for black only and are not interchangeable.

What type of cartridge should I choose if I seldom use my HP Deskjet F4235?

We recommend a standard ink cartridge if you are not a frequent printer user.
