How to Replace Cartridge(s)

1. Make sure your HP Deskjet F4140 printer is turned on.
2. Open the print cartridge door. The print carriage will move towards the center.
3. Remove the empty cartridge from its slot.
4. Take the new cartridge out of its wrapper and remove the plastic tape.
5. Slide the new cartridge into the correct slot.
6. Close the print cartridge door. The printer will align the cartridges.
