How to Replace Cartridge(s)

  1. Ensure that the printer is powered on and that the paper input tray is loaded with white paper.
  2. Open the printer cover and wait for the carriage to move to the center of the machine.
  3. Press down on the empty cartridge and pull it out from its slot.
  4. Remove the packaging of the new ink cartridge and take off the protective plastic tape by pulling the tab. Be careful not to touch the copper-colored contacts and the ink nozzle to avoid ink failures.
  5. Insert the new cartridge into its slot and push until it snaps into place.
  6. Close the printer cover.
