How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Here's how to replace compatible Canon PIXMA TR7520 ink cartridges:

1. Check if your Canon PIXMA TR7520 is powered on.
2. Open the scanning cover. The printhead holder will move to the replacement position so you can access the old cartridges.
3. Push the release tab on the empty cartridge and remove it from the printer.
4. Unpack the new ink cartridge. Make sure to pull the protective tape and protective film out of the cartridge.
5. Lift up the tab on the orange protective cap and remove it.
6. Install the ink cartridge at a slant into the printhead holder.
7. Press down on the cartridge until it locks into position.
8. Close the scanning cover.

Yes, you may proceed but the print results may not be as good as when the PIXMA TR7520 has sufficient color ink. So, we recommend replacing the color ink cartridge first if you have an extra cartridge on hand.
