How To Replace Cartridge

  1. Turn your printer on. Then, press the open button to pen the paper output tray.
  2. Lift up the scanning unit until it stops.
  3. Open your printer’s inner cover.
  4. To remove the empty cartridge, press its tab then remove it from its slot.
  5. Take your new cartridge out of its packaging. Grab the orange tape then pull it towards the arrow. This will make sure that the protective film doesn’t remain covering the air hole.
  6. Hold the ink cartridge with the orange cap on top. Then, remove the orange cap.
  7. Insert your new cartridge diagonally in its corresponding slot. Repeat steps 4 to 6 for every cartridge that needs replacing.
  8. Close your printer’s inner cover.
  9. Close the scanning unit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to replace all the cartridges on my printer?

No, you don’t. You would only need to replace the ink cartridge that your printer tells you to replace. But if you don’t want to stop your productivity, you can purchase the Canon BCI-6 Compatible 10-Pack Combo or the Canon BCI-3e & Canon BCI-6 Compatible 5-Pack Combo to make sure you have cartridges at the ready as soon as you run low.

Why should I buy remanufactured inks? Won’t this void my printer’s warranty?

Our remanufactured inks will definitely not void your printer’s warranty. Once you receive them, they’ll come in the same dimensions as the original cartridges, so they will fit your printer. Remanufactured inks can save you a lot of money. On top of that, you get to play your part in saving the environment, as we reuse and recycle old cartridges and put them to better use.

I want to buy in bulk. How soon will these cartridges expire?

Our cartridges have a shelf life of 18 to 24 months. To make sure you maximize this, please keep cartridges in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.
