PC Magazine gave the Canon PIXMA MP500 a 4-star review (out of 5) for its paper handling and print capability. This machine lets you print, scan and copy, and you can save money on paper with 2-sided printing. Users report good results and excellent print quality, especially with photos, but the machine uses ink rapidly and sometimes does not recognize when the ink has been replaced. (Hint: If you own this printer, you can save a bunch of money and be sure of having compatible cartridges by getting your ink from Carrot Ink!) This machine offers no fax support.
