Frequently Asked Questions

How would I know if it’s the printhead that needs replacing and not the print cartridges?

Issues such as pages that come out blank, pages with missing colors, and horizontal white lines on the printouts indicate a clogged printhead or printhead failure and not a defective or low-quality cartridge.

What is an effective way to keep the printhead on my Canon PIXMA iP4000 printer from clogging?

To keep the printhead from clogging, you have to use your printer regularly. And when doing so, make sure to use both the color and black ink cartridges at least once a week.
