Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my Canon PIXMA iP3000 printing color incorrectly?

If your printouts are orange-y or reddish, it’s most likely that you’ve installed a photo color cartridge instead of the required color cartridge. We’ve got compatible Canon color cartridges (not the ‘photo’ ones) available right here to help you resolve that color printing issue.

What to do if my Canon printer refuses to print in black?

Well, it pays to check if the black ink cartridge is empty or running very low on ink. If that’s the case, we’ve got you covered here at Carrot Ink. But it could also be due to clogged nozzles. Try cleaning the printhead and see if this does the trick.

Why am I getting missing or distorted colors in the printouts?

The most possible reason for distorted or missing colors in printouts is an ink tank that is not seated properly inside the printer. If you encounter this, try reinstalling the ink cartridge and make sure it is locked into place.
