Frequently Asked Questions
What to do if I am getting distorted printouts even after installing a new ink cartridge on my Canon PIXMA iP2000?
Distorted printouts are often a result of an incorrectly installed ink cartridge. Try checking if the newly installed cartridge is seated properly inside the printer. If not, then adjust accordingly before you continue printing.
What should I do if the image prints black and white instead of color?
If you are using Windows, simply uncheck the ‘Grayscale Print’ checkbox in Printer Properties to print a document in color and not just in black and white.
If I am not going to use the cartridge right away, up to how long can I keep it in storage?
Our compatible Canon ink cartridges have a shelf life of up to 24 months. So just make sure to keep the cartridge sealed in the original packaging and store it in a cool, dry place to prevent it from drying out.
