Frequently Asked Questions

I just installed a compatible toner cartridge on my Canon ImageRunner 2545, but why is it that the printed text is faded when I made a test copy?

Faded printouts are often due to a cartridge that’s running low on toner. But in your case, it could be that the toner inside the newly installed cartridge was not properly distributed. So, try removing the cartridge and shake it 5 to 6 times before inserting it back into the printer.

Is the compatible toner cartridge to blame for the very light printouts?

We don’t think so. Printouts that are too light are due to the settings on your printer. Try adjusting the toner density or deactivating the ‘Toner Save’ mode to resolve the issue.

Why are black stripes appearing on multiple sheets in sequence when I tried printing?

When black stripes appear on multiple sheets in sequence, it’s most likely that the toner cartridge is already old or damaged. Replace the old toner cartridge with a new one and see if the black stripes disappear.
