How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Replace the toner cartridge on the Canon ImageClass MF8350Cdn with these steps:
- Open the front cover.
- Hold down the lever on the left side of the printer.
- Get the toner cartridge tray straight up and out of the printer.
- Hold the handle of the toner cartridge, and pull it out.
- Remove the new cartridge from its packaging.
- Lightly rock the toner cartridge from side to side five or six times to evenly distribute the toner inside the cartridge.
- Pull the protective tab to completely remove the sealing tape from the cartridge.
- Remove the protective covering of the drum unit.
- Push the toner cartridge into the printer until you hear it clicks into position.
- Reinsert the toner cartridge tray back into the printer.
- Close the front cover.

Will I get the same number of printed pages if I switch to compatible toner cartridges?
The actual page yield varies, and it will depend mainly on the type of documents that you print.
