How To Replace Cartridge

  1. Turn your printer on, then open its front cover. You’ll see the holder move to the center.
  2. To remove the empty ink tank, pull the lock lever up and then pull it out of its slot.
  3. Unpack your new ink cartridge. Pull the orange tape up and against the perforations to open the packing film. Be careful not to remove the label from the ink tank.
  4. Hold the bottom of the tank with your one hand, then twist the orange protective cap with your other hand.
  5. To install the new cartridge, hold it at a slight angle, align it with its corresponding slot, and then insert it.
  6. Press down on the top of the tank until you hear it lock into place.
  7. Close your printer’s front cover.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I get the single ink cartridges or the 10-pack combo?

To help you decide, you need to assess your printing demands. Do you print often or just occasionally? If you use your printer heavily, it’s best that you get our Canon BCI-6 Compatible 10-Pack Combo. This way, you’ll have extra cartridges on hand as soon as your printer tells you you’re running low.

I plan to buy the 10-pack combo but worried it will expire before I use them all. Is there a way to store them properly?

Yes, there is! Our cartridges have a shelf life of 18 to 24 months. To make sure they continue to work within that timeframe, please keep your unopened cartridges in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.

I encountered issues with the cartridges that I bought! What do I do?

We are very sorry to hear this! Please contact our customer service immediately via live chat or through phone call. We’ll make sure all your needs are met.
