How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Here are the steps in installing a new toner cartridge on a Brother MFC-9320CN printer:

  1. Turn off your printer. Then, lift the handle to open the printer cover fully.
  2. Pull out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly.
  3. Push down the green-labeled lock lever. Then, take the toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
  4. Remove the new toner cartridge from its packaging. Give it a few shakes to loosen the toner inside the cartridge.
  5. Pull off the protective cover of the new cartridge.
  6. Place the new toner cartridge firmly into the drum unit until it locks into place.
  7. Put the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the printer.
  8. Close the top cover.
  9. Plug the machine's power cord back into the AC power outlet. Reconnect the telephone line cord and the cables.
  10. Turn on your printer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How come my Brother MFC-9320CN is running low on color cartridges even if I print mainly black and white documents?

You may not be aware but sometimes a black and white document can contain color information. And when your printer driver detects this color information, your printer will then use color cartridges for that printing job. Try changing the settings of your printer driver to solve this issue. You can also ask our customer service reps for assistance.

Should I get all color cartridges at once even if I just need one cartridge replacement?

There’s no need to change all 4 color cartridges at the same time. But if one is empty and the others are almost depleted too, then it’s a good idea to get all four colors. By the time they run out of toner, you already have new cartridges on hand.

Are the page yields of your compatible toner cartridges the same with the OEM cartridges?

Yes. Our compatible cartridges are designed to meet OEM specifications, including the page yield. Please take note that page yield numbers are estimates based on standard page coverage. Actual results will vary depending on many factors such as paper type, printer settings, printing frequency, etc.
