How to Replace Cartridge(s)
These steps will show you how to replace the toner cartridge on the Brother MFC-9010CN:
- Turn off your printer. Unplug the power cord from the AC power outlet.
- Lift the handle to open the front cover. Then, pull the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly out of the printer.
- Press down the green lock lever, and then slide the toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
- Lightly slide the green tab to clean the primary corona wire.
- Remove the new toner cartridge from its packaging.
- Gently rock the cartridge back to back five to six times to spread the toner inside the cartridge.
- Remove the protective cover and insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit.
- Put the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back to the printer.
- Close the front cover and turn on the printer.
