How to Replace Cartridge(s)

Here’s how to replace the toner cartridge on the Brother MFC-8370 printer:

 

  1. Press the front cover release button and open the front cover.
  2. Pull the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly out of the printer.
  3. To remove the toner cartridge from the drum unit, push down the blue lock lever.
  4. Unpack the new toner cartridge and gently shake it from side to side to distribute the toner.
  5. Pull the protective cover off the toner cartridge.
  6. Insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit.
  7. Clean the corona wire.
  8. Put the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly back into the printer. 
  9. Close the front cover.
