How To Replace Cartridge(s)
- Open your printer’s front cover. Hold your printer with one hand, while the other pulls out the drum unit. Lift it up at an angle to detach from the printer.
- To take the old cartridge out, hold down the lock lever located on the side of the drum unit. Discard the old toner properly.
- Remove the new toner out of its packaging. Rock it back and forth a few times to make sure the ink inside is evenly distributed. Then, remove the protective cover.
- Insert your new cartridge into the drum unit. If installed correctly, you will see the lock lever lift automatically.
- Locate the blue tab on the drum unit. Slide this from left to right a few time to clean the primary corona wire. Return it to home position.
- Return the drum unit, now with the new cartridge, back into the printer. Close the front cover.
Will this work with my Brother MFC-7820N printer?
Yes, it will! At Carrot Ink, we make sure each product is manufactured based on standards that are comparable with the OEM. We don’t send out any defective products.
Can I print color copy using this?
The Brother MFC-7820N is a monochrome laser printer. As such, it only uses a black toner. But rest assured that you’ll get rich black and grey colors using our toners.
