How to Replace Cartridge(s)

1. Open the cover of the ink cartridge. The printer’s display will show B&W Print Only or B&W 1-sided Print Only or Cannot Print if the cartridge is already empty.
2. Release the cartridge color by clicking the lock release lever. Then, pull the old ink cartridge out of the printer.
3. Remove any packaging material that is used to protect the new ink cartridge.
4. Rotate the green release lever on the orange protective packing counterclockwise to release the vacuum seal. Then, pull the orange protective packing out of the new ink cartridge.
5. Slide the new cartridge into the printer. Press the back of the ink cartridge marked with “PUSH” until you hear a click.
6. Close the cover of the ink cartridge.

What to do if my newly installed Brother MFC-J6520DW blank ink cartridge is not printing black?

There are two ways to resolve this issue. First, you need to check if you installed the new cartridge correctly. Try removing it and see if it is seated properly or if there is still a sealing tape on it. If it’s installed correctly and it has no tape on it, try the second option. Check if the nozzles in the print head are clogged. If yes, then clean the printhead first before reinstalling the cartridge on your printer.

What is your return policy?

If you need to return an item or two to us, simply contact our Customer Service Department to facilitate your return request. Just make sure the request is made within a year of your purchase. Also, we will refund you the purchase price for the item you return. But the original shipping charge, if there’s any, will not be included.

What are your free shipping requirements?

All Carrot Ink orders for merchandise items totaling $40 or more qualify for free standard shipping but only for the 48 contiguous states. Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories are excluded from free shipping.
