How to Replace Cartridge(s)

1. Open the ink cartridge cover. If one or more ink cartridges have reached the end of their life, the LCD shows CANNOT PRINT.
2. Press down to unlock the release lever and take out the ink cartridge for the color shown on the LCD. Recycle appropriately.
3. Open the new ink cartridge bag for the color shown on the LCD, and then take out the ink cartridge.
4. Turn the green knob on the protective yellow cap clockwise until clicks to release the vacuum seal, then remove the cap.
5. Each color has its own correct position. Insert the ink cartridge in the direction of the arrow on the label.
6. Gently push the ink cartridge i until it clocks, and then close the ink cartridge cover.
7. The machine will automatically reset the ink dot counter.
8. If the LCD shows NO CARTRIDGE or CANNOT DETECT after you install the ink cartridges, check that the ink cartridges are installed properly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the standard capacity cartridge different than the high yield cartridge?

For the Brother MFC-5895CW, our standard yield cartridges provide up to 450 pages for black ink and 320 pages for colored ink of printing, while our high yield cartridges provide up to 900 pages for black ink and 750 pages for colored ink of printing. Note that this may change depending on your printer settings.

Will the warranty of my printer be affected if I use your inks?

Nope! Our cartridges are completely compatible with your printer and will not affect its warranty.
