How to Replace Cartridge(s)

  1. Press the printer's front cover release button and then open its front cover.
  2. Pull out from the printer the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly, and then push down blue lock level to remove the used toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
  3. Take the new toner cartridge and remove its packaging. Then, grab the toner on both ends and firmly shake it a few times to ensure that the ink inside is distributed evenly.
  4. Remove the protective cover and carefully push the new toner into the drum unit until it clicks into place.
  5. Gently clean the primary corona wire inside the drum unit by sliding the blue tab side to side several times.
  6. Put the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the machine and then close the printer's front cover.
