How to Replace Cartridge(s)

1. Turn your printer on and open its top cover until it locks in position.
2. Pull out the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly that needs replacing.
3. To release the old toner cartridge, push down on the green lock lever.
4. Unpack your new cartridge. Hold it with both hands and shake gently from side to side to spread the ink inside.
5. Pull off the protective cover around the new toner.
6. Place the new toner into the drum unit until you hear it click into place. The green lock lever should lift automatically.
7. Clean the corona wire by sliding the green tab from left to right several times.
8. Repeat steps 2 to 7 for all the cartridges that needs replacing.
9. Slide the drum unit with the new toner into its corresponding slot in the machine.
10. Close your printer's top cover.

“High yield” simply means it has a higher ink capacity as opposed to standard-sized cartridges, meaning you get more pages out of it. Our Brother TN225 toner cartridges in cyan, magenta, and yellow all have 2,200 page yield, while our black toner cartridge have a 2,500 page yield. Note that this may vary depending on how often you print and your printer's settings.
