Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I getting a ‘No Ink Cartridge’ error message even after installing a new ink cartridge on my Brother MFC-J4310DW?

A ‘No Ink Cartridge’ error message on your Brother MFC-J4310DW means the ink cartridge is not installed correctly. Remove the cartridge and reinstall it properly this time.

What to do when the printouts came out with wrong ink color?

When you get wrong ink color in the printed pages, chances are the ink cartridge is installed in the wrong slot. Check which cartridge is in the wrong slot and move it to its proper position.

Can I continue printing even if the printer says ‘Ink Low’?

Yes, you can. The only time you can’t continue printing is when the ‘Cannot Print. Replace Ink Cartridge’ error message appears.
