How to Replace Cartridge(s)

1. Turn your printer on. Then, lift the ink cartridge access door until it locks into place.
2. To release an old cartridge, press on tab in front of the ink. Once it’s released, pull it out from the slot and dispose of it properly.
3. Take your new cartridge out of its bag. Pull the orange tab straight back to remove the plastic tape.
4. Twist the orange cap hard until it snaps off.
5. Slide your new cartridge into its corresponding slot, until you hear it lock into place. Make sure that the color icons on the cartridge match that on the printer.
6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for all spent cartridges.
7. Close your printer’s ink cartridge access door.

I see “high yield” on your product names. What does it mean?

“High yield” simply refers to the number of pages it can product, which is usually more than standard cartridges. Our HP 564 XL (CN684WN) Black High-Yield Remanufactured Ink Cartridge can print up to 550 pages, our HP 564XL (CR277WN) Photo Black High-Yield Remanufactured Ink Cartridge can print up to 290 pages, while our HP 564XL in the CMY range can print up to 750 pages. Note that this may change depending on how often you print and the printer’s settings.

I’m leaning towards getting either the 8-pack or 10-pack combo. How long do they have until they expire?

Our cartridges have shelf life of 18 to 24 months. Make sure that you keep them in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight.

What is a remanufactured cartridge?

Remanufactured cartridges are cleaned and recycled cartridges. We would then refill it with our own ink. Apart from the 75% savings you’ll get compared to original cartridges, you also get to save the environment by choosing recycled non-biodegradable materials!
