How to Replace Cartridge(s)

1. Turn on the power to your Epson Stylus CX6000 printer.
2. Close the document cover and open the scanner.
3. Check the viewer screen to see which cartridge needs to be replaced. If an ink cartridge is empty, press the Start button. If an ink cartridge is low on ink, press the Setup/Utilities button.
4. Press the Start button again.
5. Open the cartridge cover.
6. Squeeze the tab at the back of the cartridge you are replacing and lift it straight out.
7. Shake the new cartridge package four or five times, and then take it out of its wrapper and remove the plastic tape. Do not touch the green chip.
8. Place the new cartridge in the correct slot and push it down until it clicks into place. Close the cartridge cover and press it down until it also clicks into place.
9. Close the scanner.
10. Press the Start button.
11. The printer will charge the ink. Do not turn off the printer while the ink is charging.
