Frequently Asked Questions

I already installed a new set of ink cartridges into my Canon PIXMA MG5500, but it does not print. What could be the problem?

If your PIXMA MG5500 does not print, it's likely that the ink cartridges are installed in the wrong positions. Remove the ink cartridges and reinstall them properly, making sure that the color on the cartridge matches the label on the ink cartridge holder.

I'm getting misaligned printed ruled lines after installing a new cartridge. What to do?

If you're getting misaligned printed ruled lines, you must adjust the printhead position.

When one of the ink cartridges runs out of ink, would you recommend replacing all the other ink cartridges as well?

Definitely not. When only one ink cartridge runs empty, then just replace that specific cartridge and leave the other cartridges installed.
