How to Replace Cartridge(s)
Changing the ink cartridge on the Canon PIXMA iP1800 is fast and easy. Here are the steps:
- Press the Power button to turn on your Canon PIXMA iP1700.
- Open the front cover and wait until the ink cartridge holder moves to the replacement position.
- Press down on the cartridge that needs replacement to release it from the holder, and then pull it out of the printer.
- Take the new ink cartridge out of its packaging.
- Pull the protective tape off the cartridge before installing it into the printer.
- Insert the cartridge into the correct slot inside the printer and push it in until it locks into place.
- Close the front cover.
